Lacking in Style & Substance

Happy Birthday David Tennant!
Loved him as the Tenth Doctor, but most impressed with his performances in Hamlet & Einstein and Eddington.

Point the First: I really dislike fandom animated gifs in general. They give me a headache.

Point the Second: I really adore Doctor Who.

Point the Third: This animated gif encapsulates each series of Doctor Who SO well, that I am willing to overlook Point the First and reblog it. Well done!

These are pretty darn cool. Especially like the Rory/Amy one.

The Doctor and the Impossible Astronaut Poster Design
Amy Pond and Rory the Roman/Pandorica Poster Design

A couple of new poster designs. I’m going to make a few more depending on if people like these ones. The design was heavily influenced by Olly Moss’ star wars posters. It’s a lovely style and I created them originally for display in my bedroom.

It’s not often that I actually play videos that YouTube suggests to me. But, when I saw the screen shot of this, I knew the magic algorithm at gotten it right for me. The Doctor sure as heck runs a lot.

Not sure why I’d never seen this before, since it’s from a couple years ago, but I love it!

This segment was mildly inaccurate, ignorant of the show and generally upsetting. Meredith had no idea where she was and what anything meant. And if this was you first exposure to Doctor Who, you’d have no idea what it was either. Argh.

Today Show visits the set of Doctor Who, tours the Travel Machine.

Today Show host Meredith Vieira went to Cardiff to visit the set of Doctor Who, chat with Matt Smith and Alex Kingston, and shoot a short cameo for an upcoming episode.

She also asks if she could be The Doctor’s next “travel buddy” in his “travel machine.”

Matt says no.
