Me, three days ago: I SHOULD MAKE AN INFOGRAPHIC LOL

Me, when I finished said infographic: WHY DID I SPEND THREE DAYS ON THIS LOL

Anyway, here’s an infographic on the AIHL, my nerdy summer hockey love. Click on the pictures to get a better view of the text. To see the entire thing as one picture, click here.

I love this. So much.

Belfast Giants: A New Era

It’s just a hockey stick in my eye

I was lucky enough to go over to Belfast and attend a game there this year. Such a great city, and a fun atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

Happy Birthday Kimmo Timonen!
Love having you on the Flyers blue line! 38 years old and still a beast out on the ice.

Random Thought of the Day

I’m starting to like soccer better than hockey sometimes these days.

This is possibly due to any/all of the following:

  1. I’ve got fewer “legit fan” years in soccer under my belt, so I’m less bitter about my gripes about the sport overall.
  2. My view into fandom of the sport sees much less drama.
  3. There are more quality leagues out there and thus more opportunities to watch the sport year round in multiple styles.
  4. I get to see it in person more than hockey right now.

Yet another reason to love the Canucks.
